Transformation

This is me,

the real me.

Take me as I am.

I am who I am.

I did not crumble.

I did not bend.

Nothing could change the resilience in me.

It took a long time to get here.

This is where I belong.

I stayed on this course-

until the end.

My faith did not waver.

It did not bend.

I’ve carved my way through the beaten paths.

The roads were not straight,

and they were not without resistance.

But, no matter the obstacles,

or whatever the tests were-

each one was passed.

I made it.

I am here.
