I’m Just the Painter

If I could paint a picture of the world I desire,

it is a perfect tapestry of humanity.

I’d paint from a palette of shades of red, yellow,

black, brown, and white.

Each  shade is a perfect blend of various

hues of ethnicity.

Each shade is intricate and exquisite in detail

depicting every feature, every trait, and

every characteristic perfectly representative

of each culture.

I’d carefully and purposely blend each color

to ensure the colors flowed in harmony

and perfectly in sync with the other.

After smoothing out the rough edges until they are subdued,

muted, and not overbearing,

I’d highlight the best features of each shade and make sure

each shade is featured equally.

The manipulated colors tapestry will begin to

resemble a landscape spread broad and wide,

almost liken to the colors of Autumn and Fall.

Their deep and rich hues are breath-taking,

and customized to reflect the diversity of humanity.

The painting is a rival to Leonardo da Vinci,

but in my opinion,

nothing compares perfectly to the beauty

of the shades of diversity.

Although I’m just the painter,

and humanity is the model,

my painting is a flawless depiction.
